General Contracting
Many of our customers have purchased their own piece of ground and are looking for a St. Louis General Contractor to clear the land, design and build the home, thus providing a seamless process for our customer that adds value and efficiency to the process. Our management team takes full responsibility of the project which includes site development and planning, engineering, architectural and the complete build process.
As a St. Louis demolition contractor it is typical for us to have to demolish an existing structure before a new one can be built.
We tear down over 100 structures per year and can handle anything from old homes to hotels. We take care of the permitting, utility disconnects, hazardous waste and the actual tear down of the structure.

Barker and Son was contracted to build this custom home in the Wildwood area overlooking the Meramac Bluff river valley on a 3 acre wooded site.
Our architect went right to work and designed a beautiful home that was designed so that “almost every” room in the house had a magnificent view of the Meramec River valley.. it was a spectacular view from every room!
Once design and construction docs were drawn, we brought in our land development team and began to clear the property of unwanted trees, making sure to keep the largest and most magnificent.
We established electric, water and sewer on the site and began to dig the foundation. One of the best choices we made for this custom home was a geothermal heat/cool system. Using the ground temperature and subsurface piping, the system heats and cools the 5000sf home for about $130 per month.
The home went up in about five months and the customer was ecstatic with the end result. Our interior designers did a fabulous job of coordinating the kitchen, bath, countertops, paint, trim and flooring options that went into the home.
